Revitalizing residential neighbourhoods populated with ill-maintained and outdated houses, by collaborating the class housing projects directed from the Dirty Realism Housing collection. Working with these kinds of neighbourhoods provides an uplift to the area, and creating a vision for the future for additional living spaces. This is a Masterplan vision that Vanier can consider for intensified, denser, and sustainable living.

Scarcely Cute is one part of the Dirty Realism Housing collection that explores revitalizing an embedded neighbourhood, populated with ill-maintained, outdated rental six-plexes. Incorporating infill, compact houses with these kinds of neighbourhoods provides an uplift to the area without disturbing and displacing existing residents, while also respecting the aesthetics of the surrounding area.
